Sergey  Sulimov (born July 18, 1981, Gomel, Belarus) is an entrepreneur and investor, founder of the largest Belarusian educational center “Lider”, the EnglishPapa language school, the Lider driving school, and several other EdTech and development projects.
He was listed among the top-50 businessmen of the Gomel region by “Ezhenedelnik”.
He is a graduate of Gomel State University, Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences
(in cooperation with the University of Manchester, MA), Minnesota State University (MBA),
and the University of Warwick (MA, Chevening).
Winner of multiple industry awards (“People’s Brand”, “Choice of the Year”, “Brand of the Year” etc.).
Creator of the international platform BookYourStudy — winner of the “Startup of the Year” award at TIBO-2019.
Since 2023, he has been developing the Aviator aparthotel project in Canggu, Bali.

Sergey Viktorovich Sulimov is a Belarusian entrepreneur and investor,
founder of the educational center “Lider”, the EnglishPapa language school, the Lider driving school, and a number of other educational and real estate development projects.
He was ranked among the top-50 businessmen of the Gomel region by “Ezhenedelnik”.

Early life and education

Born on July 18, 1981, in Gomel. He studied in an economics-focused class, practiced swimming, boxing, and judo;
won 3rd place in the city chess tournament; and served as president of his school debate club.
In 1998, after winning a mathematics olympiad, he entered Gomel State University without exams (1998–2003).
While studying, he launched educational initiatives, including children’s learning programs and computer literacy courses.
He is listed among the notable alumni of the Faculty of Economics.

In 1999, he was elected president of the Gomel Scientific Association, which later became the foundation of the “Lider” center.

International programs and academic degrees

Since 2004, he has been developing educational businesses in Belarus. Under his leadership, the “Lider” center became the market leader in supplementary education,
expanding its portfolio and pioneering online learning in Belarus.

“Brand of the Year”, “Best Products of the Republic of Belarus”, “Product of the Year” (2017).

In 2014, he founded the EnglishPapa language school.

Since 2005, Sergey has been active in commercial real estate projects, including hotels, office complexes, beauty salons, and dental centers.
His experience in investment and management has allowed him to expand into international markets.

In 2023, he launched the Aviator Aparthotel project in Canggu, Bali.
The construction was completed in December 2024. Since then, the project has been recognized by Bali’s developer community for its exceptional quality and design,
and it consistently ranks within the top 1% of hotels in Bali according to Booking.com.

Current activities

Based in London. He writes about real estate and investments in Bali, international education, and business management;
runs blogs in social media; shares insights on remote management, organizational structures, and increasing company efficiency.
He is currently working on his second book about starting and building a business.
